A cold stamping coupler is a type of mechanical coupler used to connect two steel reinforcing bars (rebars) together in reinforced concrete structures. It is called a cold stamping coupler because it is manufactured using a cold stamping process, which involves shaping and forming the coupler without applying heat or welding.

Cold stamping couplers are particularly suitable for use in construction projects where the the rebar is already installed and use of welding or heat may not be practical or allowed.

The coupler is installed by placing it over the ends of the two rebars to be connected and a hydraulic tool will mold the coupler onto the rebar by the use of a moulding die. This creates a strong and reliable connection between the two rebars.
